Built in the 20's by the pasha of Marrakech, the Royal Golf Club is one of the longest-established in Morocco. Constantly renovated and improved, it is also one of His Majesty King Hassan ll's favourite courses. With good reason. How magical for a golfer to play on this par 72 course at the feet of the snow-covered Atlas mountains! In May 2008, the new Menara course was launched. It melts harmoniously into the superb initial setting and takes advantage of all existing vegetation, while perfectly integrating in the old course with water hazards, offering thus a longer and more technical course. The order of the old 18 hole course was redistributed in such as way as to ofer a more difficult basic course Koutoubia/Menara to satisfy confirmed golfers as well as golf lovers.
