INTRODUCTION

Lake Champlain, for cycling enthusiasts, is a big playground located just 80 km south from Montreal.  This magnificent lake borders the States of New York and Vermont and the Province of Quebec. This area offers splendid points of view of the Adirondacks Mountains to the west, and of the Green Mountains to the east.

The lake is almost 200 km long and 20 km width. Its surrounding area offers a network of 584 km of roads called "Lake Champlain Bikeways". We also find here 1597 km of thematic circuits from 15 to 100 km each in a large network of rural roads. All types of cyclists can find what they are looking for: you can ride on winding roads, and sometimes, if you want to, you will meet abrupt raises that challenge the most athletic in us.

The trails pass by agricultural lands, historic hamlets and picturesque villages. For those who are interested in cultural attractions, museums, forts, and historic attractions, they are waiting for you. Don’t forget to visit larger cities like Plattsburgh and Burlington, which are sure to serve as base camp for short and long stays.

* Available for departure of 15 persons and more.
