Attracted by the idea of an adventure in Western Canada and the ski bum life, Guillaume went to Whistler for a few years. There, he experiences many aspects of the mountain life: snowmaking, ski instructor and National Patrol and Avalanche training. Having discovered the surrounding mountains of Canada and the United States, Guillaume leaves for Japan where snow is known to be abundant. Niseko wins him over within a few days. There he works as a ski instructor and a backcountry and catski guide. Onsite representative for Gendronski for over 5 years, he will greet skiers in Hakuba this winter.
