So close to home!
A ski getaway in Vermont, specifically in Stowe, Sugarbush or Killington, is like going on an adventure just a few hours’ drive from home. How many times have I dreamed that the Canada-U.S. border were 150 km or so further down south? That way, these magnificent resorts would be on our own territory and we could call the impressive mountains that are home to these resorts our very own.
Stowe, Sugarbush and Killington sit along a 100-km stretch of the Green Mountain Range that runs from north to south through Vermont. They are a great option for those who like multi-destination getaways.
Combined, these three resorts provide the best that the skiing industry has to offer: huge ski areas, steep vertical drops, state-of-the-art facilities (notably snow-making equipment) and alpine villages teeming with activity. No wonder so many skiers call this area their home away from home! //
