Leaving along the coast to La Línea de la Concepción, across the border with Gibraltar. There, we board a minibus for the visit of Gibraltar: the rock “el Peñón”, the entrance of the Caves of San Miguel and the monkeys at Upper Rock Nature Reserve. The visit is followed by free time in Gibraltar before coming back.

Visit of Cordoba, a city like no other with Arab and Jewish roots. Visit of the Mosque-Cathedral, a beautiful mixture of styles and religions, built in the 7th century. Continuing with a visit of the Jewish quarter, its narrow streets and the Roman Bridge, which construction is attributed to Roman emperor Augustus.

We leave along the coast and then to the mountains. On the way you’ll see pinsapos, trees that are only native there, and you might even get to see mountain goats! In Ronda, you’ll go on a city tour of this magnificent city, one of the oldest in Spain, followed by a visit and tasting at the Wine Museum located in a palace. Then, discover the Old Borough and its streets, the Tajo and the bull arena built in 1784 and believed to be the oldest in Spain.

This tour takes you to Nerja, where you get some free time and you have the opportunity to visit the grotto. Then, we continue to Frigiliana, with its flowery alleys and white houses. On your way to Sevilla, you’ll see the typical Andalusian villages of Antequerra, La Roda, Estepa and Osuna. In Sevilla, a city tour will take you to its most interesting monuments such as the Cathedral built in the 16th century, the park of Maria Luisa, the Spanish Steps and the neighbourhood of Santa Cruz.

We start with a short stop in Riofrío or Loja and then continue to Granada. Free time to visit the Royal Chapel (optional) built in 1504. Then we leave for the Alhambra, a must-see example of Arab design, its Nazaries Palace and the magnificent Generalife Gardens. Enjoy a superb view of the city and the Gypsy quarter of Albaycin.

The order of your visits can be altered depending on the time of entry to the Alhambra.

Departing early in the morning for Alpujarra Granadina where magnificent landscapes showcase almond trees, vineyards and sunny terraces. Houses are built into the mountainside, facing south to take advantage of the Mediterranean climate. Paved and sinuous roads are an invitation to walk around, breath the fresh air and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

Then we get on the road to Lanjarón, known locally as Puerta de la Alpujarra, where one can relax in their mineral waters. After that, we’ll go to Órgiva, of Mauresque influence, Soportújar, Carataunas, and the road to Barranco de Poqueira where you can visit alongside the population of Pampaneira. This stop will let you see the architecture and taste the local cuisine and wines.

We continue to Pórtugos to visit a famous mineral water source of the Alpujarras. Well known by Arabs for its medicinal properties, this water contains iron and carbon dioxide giving it a distinctive spicy flavour. Then we go to Trevelez, the highest village of Spain, famous for its meat and sausages, especially ham. We’ll visit a drying room and see how they dry ham, followed by local wine and tapas tasting. Then we’ll enjoy a typical breakfast.

Some free time will let you visit some more before going back to Fuengirola.
