Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

STONEHENGE & BATH
This is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire, consisting of a circle of standing stones. Archaeologists estimate that it was built between 3000 and 2000 BC. The first phase of the monument, including the circle of stones and the ditch, dates back to about 3100 BC.

Next, you will head towards Bath to visit the Roman Baths. This is Bath’s main attraction, inherited from Roman occupation. At that time, the city was known as Aquae Sulis, in reference to the Celtic goddess of the hot spring, who was associated with Minerva. Under the Pump Room, you can admire the ruins of a temple dedicated to these two deities. Bathing in the thermal pools was considered beneficial for health at that time. Even today, the waters with healing properties flow at a consistent temperature of 46.5°C. The visit offers a true immersion into the past and the opulence of antiquity.
