Itinerary:
Flight to Marrakech.
Welcoming at the airport by our Moroccan correspondent, transfer to Marrakech (250 km).
Check-in at your hotel.
Visit of the Souk and in the evening, the Djemaa El Fna square.
Overnight and dinner at the DIWANE HOTEL 4* or similar.
Dinner included.
Cultural day. We discover this 11th century city that is still full of life.
Visit of the Bahia Palace (guided tour by a palace guide) and visit of the Majorelle Garden.
Dinner at a local restaurant in Dar Essalam.
In the afternoon, stroll through the Souk and free time.

Departure to Ouarzazate.
During the journey, we will make a stop to visit and walk around Aït-Ben-Haddou in the village of Telouet. This charming little fortified village is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will be guided around by a heritage guide.
Dinner will be served in a local restaurant, Oasis d’or, at Ait Ben Haddou.
Following this visit, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate. Depending on the schedule, we will have the opportunity to make a stop at the Atlas Cinema Studios where several films have been shot including Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Sodom and Gomorrah, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, The Flight of the Sphinx, The Last Temptation of Christ, Patton and several others.

Route to Kelaa M’Gouna.
We are leaving for a 3-day trek in the Dadès valley region, also known as the valley of roses.
Hiking in the must-see rose valley at the foot of the Central High Atlas.
6 hours of walking / + or – 300 meters of elevation gain.
Overnight stay and dinner at the KASBAH XALUCA DADES HOTEL in Kelaa M’Gouna or similar.

Hike through the stunning Agouti gorges, passing by the remarkable village of Alhoute with its traditional pisé-style dwellings.

Route to Merzouga. (about 300 km).
During our long journey, we will take a 1 hour walk in the palm groves bordering the Sarhro desert.
Lunch at a local restaurant Yasmina in Todra.
Then, departure for a visit to a fossilized objects manufacturing near Erfoud (sink, plates, showers, tables, fossils).
1 hour walk.
Overnight and dinner at KASBAH MOHAYUT hotel in Merzouga or similar.

We take some time to enjoy our hotel and pool before heading out on a hiking adventure through the dunes of Merzouga on foot or by camel.
Sunset under a starry sky in the highest dunes of the Sahara. The red dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) are located in Tafilalt, southeast Morocco, about 40 km south of Erfoud, near Algeria. This erg is 22 km long and 5 km wide.
Lunch at a restaurant in Kasbah Tombouctou.
These dunes can reach heights of 150 meters.
A 2-3 hour hike or camel ride in the desert.
Night in a luxury Berber tent in Azawad.

At sunrise, return on foot or by camel to the village of Merzouga.
Visit and meal in a typical and folkloric Berber pizzeria.
Walk around Dayet Srij lake, also called the lake of pink flamingos, rightly so as it has long remained dry but now welcomes a great variety of birds, including an incredible colony of pink flamingos.

We continue our journey towards Agadir. A beautiful crossing southward along the semi-desert Siroua.

Agadir is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southern Morocco, in the foothills of the Anti-Atlas mountains.

After this stop in Morocco’s largest seaside resort, we continue our journey to the city of Essaouira (174 km). This transfer day is full of colors. From the mountains of the High Atlas of Morocco, we reach the city of Essaouira on the coast.

Its animation and beauty make Essaouira a popular city for Europeans. You will be captivated by the skill of wood craftsmen (thuja, walnut, lemon), the fish market, and the alleys with blue and white vaults.
