Collection of Personal Information
Any information about an individual that could be used to identify that person (email address, telephone number, financial information, mailing address, etc.) is referred to as “personal information”.
Your personal information is collected in several ways by Gendron Travel. This information can be transmitted during a reservation or an exchange with one of our agents or another member of staff, either via our website, over the phone or directly in the agency. It may also come from a contest, a newsletter subscription or our social media platforms.
We only collect personal information that is necessary to provide our travel services. This information includes:
- Your first and last name;
- Your street address;
- Your date of birth
- Your telephone number;
- Your email address;
- Your payment information;
- Your passport number in the case of international travel to validate that your travel documents have the same information and spelling as your passport;
- Your language;
- Your personal preferences, travel preferences and any special requirements to ensure your trip runs smoothly (e.g. medical conditions, allergies, etc.).
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as your race, ethnic origin, political opinion or religious beliefs.
Use of Personal Information
We use your personal information to provide travel services and to communicate with you about those services. In some cases, this information may be shared with trusted partners of Gendron Travel to ensure the provision of travel services. Only the service providers involved in your trip will receive this information, and only if they need it to ensure the smooth operation of your trip. We may also use your personal information to send you promotional offers and travel information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
Also, it is important to know that Gendron Travel is not responsible for the use and disclosure of personal information that you provide to third parties involved in your travel, during or after your trip.

In order to provide you with the products and services you have requested from us, we may share your personal information with trusted third parties, including:
- Providers of investigative and inquiry services relating to a personal data incident or breach;
- Service providers, such as reservation agents, refueling agents, travel service providers, car rental providers, hotels and airport assistance services to facilitate your travel and other requests;
- Government authorities and law enforcement agencies, such as immigration, customs, airport authorities, and border services to comply with applicable requirements and ensure the safety of our customers, passengers and employees;
- Technology service providers whose systems we may use to process your reservation and travel.
Security of your data
We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We restrict access to your personal information to employees who need the information to provide travel services and to service providers who need it for the successful completion of your trip.

Your personal information is retained by the Company only for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If we no longer have a legitimate business interest in continuing to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it, or if it is not possible to do so (because, for example, your personal information has been stored in a backup archive), then we will store your personal information securely and ensure that it ceases to be processed until it is possible to delete it.
Access to your personal information
Once we have properly identified you, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you as permitted or required by law. In some cases, a written request from you may be required.
In connection with a reservation, the personal information you have provided to us may not be transferred to or changed by a family member, friend or other third party who is not a traveler or payer of record, unless you verbally consent.

Accuracy and Amendment of Your Personal Information
If there are any changes to your personal information (e.g., change of address, change of telephone number, etc.), it is best to contact us promptly by telephone or e-mail to keep your file and our databases up to date. For our part, we make every effort to ensure that the personal information you provide at the time of booking is complete.
At any time, you may request that corrections be made to the personal information we hold about you. We will then update your current reservation, if necessary, to our suppliers and partners who have a direct link to your file.
