The mandatory insurance in the mountains: civil liability insurance (RC) is mandatory for skiing in Italy since January 1, 2022. This insurance must cover any damage or injury you might cause to third parties. You must hold it to purchase your ski pass and could be subject to a fine in the event of an inspection. You can buy it online on the site https://www.ski.it/en or at the ticket office when picking up your ski ticket.
