Éric discovered golf at a very young age and was immersed in that world for many years. During his teenage years, he had the opportunity to work at the Lachute and Summerlea golf clubs, an experience that fueled his passion for the sport.

After earning his bachelor’s degree, he devoted nearly 15 years to the golf industry. His career path led him to work at Golf Québec, where he notably helped establish Interclub, Division B, and later at Titleist and the Fletcher Group, experiences that allowed him to discover and play many courses.

Like many parents, Éric temporarily set golf aside when his children, Thomas and Eva, were born. He returned to the sport during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now a proud member of Summerlea Golf Club.

Known for his enthusiasm, his ability to bring people together, and his good humour, Éric enjoys sharing his passion for golf and making sure everyone has a memorable time on the course. In his professional life, he now works in the medical field.

At the same time, Éric is also president of the oldest adult hockey league still in operation: the Depression Hockey League, founded in 1932. True to its motto, “We play to have fun while doing charitable work!”, the league perfectly reflects the values he holds dear: enjoyment, camaraderie, and commitment to the community.
