Amazing stay
Amazing hotel with excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Everyone working there was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful during the whole stay. The best water sport experience
Wonderful experience. May is a quiet time of the year so we got tons of lovely attention and got to know many of the GO’s. The water sports team was amazing. I learnt to sail a catamaran with their detailed instruction and enjoyed every minute on the water. Special thanks to Yasim , Sebastien,, Salah, Theo, Amen, Khalil. You made it so much fun to learn and enjoy. Also a mention for Bill who helped us choose presents for our family.

The baby club and mini club team are amazing! Special mention to Adel, who was so kind and friendly — my daughter absolutely loved him and still talks about him 😊 Arthur’s fitness classes are great, especially the step classes. He really knows how to bring energy and motivation — I miss them already! Though it would be nice to give him a microphone, poor thing 😄 I must admit I was a little disappointed with the quality of the fruit, and there were quite a lot of ants in my room. Other than that, the vacation was wonderful! The staff were always kind and ready to help. Thank you!

Great Padel Boot camp
We went to Club Med Djerba for the Padel. They have 6 courts built 2 years ago, and 2 professional coaches: Achraf and Hamza. Every morning at 9am (except Saturday) there is an intermediate Padel coaching, (and at 10 for beginners). Up to 24 can turn up, so with 4 per court you get a coach for 20 minutes and then practise with the players on your court. It was great. We learnt a lot from both coaches who did their best to straighten out our padel but (we are in our 70’s) but changing our strokes was not easy. However, thanks to Hamza my vibora was better than when I arrived! 4 times a week there was a “tournament” in the afternoon. We usually came last but had many good games. At the sailing club Khalil and Amen were a great help getting me out on the trapeze on the catamarans. The food was excellent, with plenty of fresh sea food and some of the best raw tuna I’ve ever had. The 9 action stations provided a wide choice from French, Tunisian, and International cuisines. As Brits it was a delight to have the classic French dishes, crepe suzette, mille-feuille, crème brûlée, baguettes, seafood vol-au-vent, etc. There is also a table service restaurant, Calypso, which does a great “late breakfast” till 11:30. Lots of beach BBQ’s, and endless “animation”. They love a bit of line dancing. The sea was a big disappointment as seaweed came in every day making the sea unpleasant to swim in. They had two tractors collecting it off the beach every morning, but the neighbouring beaches just let it pile up, where it rotted and smelt horrendous. My wife never swam in the whole 2 weeks: the sea was cold, cloudy, and choked with seaweed; the outdoor pools were too cold (21C), and the (heated) indoor pool was packed with kids (not entirely surprising as it was the French holidays and most of the guests were French with children). Only £5 taxi ride to the nearby city and souk with fantastic local wall paintings. £20 for horse riding from local ranch.
