A first class resort - for all generations.
This Club Med resort is excellent, with a great location, amazing facilities, excellent cuisine and a great ambience. It is clearly well run with very friendly and supportive staff. The skiing was very good with access to a big ski area. Our family group had three generations including a baby and a teenager, and everyone had great fun.

Good facilities, great ski school but poor service
We stayed at Club Med La Rosière over the Easter break for our first family skiing holiday and unfortunately it was not a completely positive experience. The hotel itself is very nice and the food was of the usual club med quality so no complaints there. We took advantage of the daily ski school and as beginners these were brilliant, extremely well organised with excellent instructors (ESF are the ski company) special mention to Christophe, brilliant instructor. Bad points - When we arrived in the locker room the ski's for my wife and I hadn't been put in our locker (they were pre-ordered) so we had to go and ask for another two pairs, the desk didn't seem to think that could be possible and were reluctant to get us another set, they eventually did, however, we have since been charged another weeks hire for the ski's on top of what we already paid. On the final day of our holiday when we were due to return all the ski equipment, we hired the two pairs of skis we were originally ordered appeared leaning against our locker with the stickers on which showed they hadn't been used. We have contacted Club Med's support line regarding the charges and we haven't had a response to any correspondence that was sent over 10 days ago. Finally, my wife's ski jacket was stolen from the bar area, we went to the reception desk to ask to see the cameras and we didn't feel they took the matter very seriously and didn't seem too bothered about the issue or very willing to help (accept from Alexia) I asked to see the on duty manager at one point and I was told she was too busy to see me and I should come back later. We were also told we would be contacted by Club Med regarding and insurance policy for stolen items but that hasn't happened either. Overall, the facilities and skiing were very good but the service from Club Med was well below standards we have experienced at other resorts.

Hotel and location great. Food could have been a lot better. Sadly little for kids to do in the hotel during free time. I would of expected more from a family holiday resort

Very nice hotel in relaxing resort
Very modern Club Med. More homely feel than other Club Med’s we have stayed in. Check in, ski hire and ski school all seamless Staff helpful. Good pool, gym and quiet area for adults.

We overall enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean, the facilities are lovely, and the team took wonderful care of our children. Great skiing location!! However, having visited this venue two years ago, we were very disappointed by the quality of the food this time. The variety and freshness were noticeably lacking, and despite raising this with the staff during the week, we did not see any improvement. Many other guests shared similar feedback, so we truly hope management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them for the future. Unfortunately, the food experience has affected our consideration of returning, which is a real shame given how much we appreciated the rest of the stay.
