Palmiye 2025 <3
Wonderful vacation! It was my first time in this village, Palmiye is really large and beautiful resort with many activities. There is no way to manage with all of them))) I want to especially thank for the water sports- obsessed with them! The sea is stunning, the sailing and water skiing teams are super friendly and kind. And what a beautiful area the village has! Alleys with persimmons, mandarins and palms- every morning i had breakfast with persimmon right from the tree. The restaurants are also very delicious, offering a wide variety of food- especially fish, seafood and desserts. However, it was impossible to eat so much)) Main restaurant is quite crowdy so I recommend to to go closer to end of lunch/ dinner hours when most people have already left. One downside is that if it rains the village becomes rather dull- there is no entertainment, everything is closed and there are no umbrellas to go for a walk, wich is disappointing because it feels like losing such days. In conclusion, I would like to thank the 2025 season team for the warm attitude and the spirit of this place! See you soon!

Updating my previous review with experience after my new trip in 2025: last time I had a great time! I don't know how, but this year Club Med Palmiye team outperformed themselves. I want to thank all employees for your amazing and hard work making the trip outstanding and special thanks to: Selin at the reception: she was very attentive and helpful, made more than she was supposed to (to help me organize boyfriend's birthday), a true professional and very nice person Fatih is always very welcoming and warm, but at the same time works very hard to manage to control all the restaurants of the resort at the same time and is doing it perfectly Serkan at Bosphorus restaurant: made everything and more to make our celebration dinner perfect Şener at Topkapi restaurant was very professional Sonesh is the best boat driver at watersports ever: he does not just drive the boat, but also helps newbies to make their first steps in watersports, instructs and motivates. Thanks to him I had my first wakeboard ride. Thanks to all of the team and looking forward to meeting you next year<3 Previous review: Had a great time in Club Med Palmiye in October! Been here several times and always love it. First of all, a huge thanks to Violetta, who helped us a lot with the prefect room for our stay, was very helpful, polite and kind and made our stay really special. Thank you, Violetta! The hotel has a perfect location: a private lagoon with clear water near mountains, bungaloes are hidden in the pine forest. Those, who love sports, will enjoy the hotel as there are many activities included in the price: tennis, water ski (thanks to Alexandra!), circus, etc. The weather in October was perfect. The food was very delicious (but had an intoxication this time:( - be careful with raw fish). Great hotel, great personnel, wish Palmiye prosperity:)

Overcrowded resort lacking sufficient facilities to cope
We were really disappointed with our first and never to be repeated Club Med experience. Let me start with the positives: - the room in the bungalows was lovely - quiet, comfortable and very clean (paper cups and cheap wooden stirrers were a disappointment though!) - the staff at the tennis 'club' were friendly and helpful and conducted really good drills -the food in the hotel buffet restaurant was generally really good - the waiter Sukru was a stand out - smiling, friendly and helpful - the keep fit was varied and staff were also lovely - bar staff were good and the choice of drinks great - watermelon slices by the pool were much appreciated - entertainment was ok once we realised it was the staff and not professionals on the stage! However:- - The place has way too many guests and way to few places to eat/play tennis/padel etc and not enough dinghies if sailing is your thing - If you are a couple this is not really the best place - full of families and large groups of friends and there were very few English speakers - mainly Russian and French. - Before we arrived there was a complete lack of information - it was certainly pull not push. Had to constantly check the booking to make sure transport etc arranged, when to pay balance etc. - There was no one with a sign at the airport and many many desks - took us 15 mins to locate a Club Med driver who was fetched by another driver. - Arrived 8pm and at 10pm our bags were still outside the front the hotel despite being told to go for dinner and they would be sent directly to our room - No explanation of how to use the app which we discovered would have helped us to book tennis courts etc more easily - the app is very frustrating and page says nothing available. You have to press on hourly times after this which was not clear. - We were given an information sheet halfway through the week when I asked about booking a restaurant - this would have been good at the start of our stay - The app is really frustrating - everyone has to stop what they're doing at 8pm to book restaurant/courts etc - very impersonal and annoying. - A la carte restaurant impossible to book even for 2 people. Told to just turn up and try which we did. 2 A la Carte restaurants for 1,500 people is clearly insufficient. - The food at Topkapi was fine, but Bosphore was very disappointing. - Despite the frustration of trying to book Bosphore to be told its full, we counted at least 12 empty tables between 1930-2100. - There is no separate area for smokers and people seemed to favour cigars during their meals - not good - A small thing but a decent sized dessert spoon would be appreciated - T-spoons just don't cut it! - Some of the serving staff and resort staff lacked basic customer service skills - not friendly at all - avoiding eye contact and no hello's to guests - it felt like they were tired or overworked or just couldn't be bothered - The clattering in the buffet restaurants as the waiters cleared away plates etc gave it the feel of the school canteen - The tennis offering was disappointing - way too many people wanting to do drills/tournament and book courts - There was a Singles tournament on one day with 40 people. Singles seems an unnecessary indulgence when so many other people want to play tennis in the mornings. Only 4 women entered this, the rest were men - and yet many women, myself included, would have loved to play doubles again but all the courts were taken with the Singles players. - Children aged around 9-12 were allowed to play in the adult tournament - when 43 people turn up surely this should not have been acceptable even if they could hit a ball - just too many people and that didn't help! - Court 1 is badly damaged and is a trip hazard - Small point but worth mentioning - give the coaches better balls for drills and a much bigger basket - participants spend far too long collecting balls for such a short session - We were there a week but they moved White Night which we were told was not to be missed - they were setting this up as we left and it looked as though it would have been a fun night - we definitely felt we missed out there, although this couldn't be helped! -
