Day 1

Arrive in San Francisco and check into your hotel. Explore the city, visiting Chinatown, North Beach and the Mission district.

Day 2

Explore San Francisco’s iconic landmarks, including the Golden Gate Bridge, FLombard Street and Alcatraz, San Francisco Bay’s iconic island, once a maximum-security federal prison, now a popular historic site for sightseeing. Dine near Fisherman’s Wharf.

Day 3

Visit Muir Woods National Park to admire the giant sequoia trees.drive to Monterey (approx. 2 hours drive). Stop en route in Santa Cruz to enjoy the beach and the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Day 4

Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium in the morning. Take a stroll along the famous 17-Mile Drive, stopping to admire the views and picturesque beaches. Explore downtown Monterey and enjoy an evening meal on Cannery Row.

Day 5

Drive from Monterey to Santa Barbara (approx. 4-5 hours). Route 1 from Monterey to Santa Barbara is a spectacular route along the California coast, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and picturesque stops. In Santa Barbara, explore State Street, visit the Santa Barbara Mission and enjoy the beach.

 

Day 6

Continue your journey to Los Angeles (approx. 1.5 to 2 hours’ drive). Explore Los Angeles, visiting attractions such as Hollywood, the Griffith Observatory and the Walk of Fame. In the afternoon, explore the beaches of Malibu before arriving in Los Angeles.

Day 7

Spend the day discovering other Los Angeles attractions, such as Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach and the Getty Center Museum. Take the afternoon to visit Universal Studios or go shopping on Rodeo Drive. At the end of the day, relax on Santa Monica Beach.

Day 8

Return trip.
