Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

- Breakfast at the hotel.
- City tour of the capital with your guide. During the morning, you will discover the charms of this human-scale city as you pass by the intriguing Hallgrímskirkja Church (external visit), the lively Laugavegur street and the Harpa Concert Hall, a true architectural masterpiece.
- Departure for the discovery of the Golden Circle.
- You will then head to the Geysir and Strokkur geysers to admire one of Iceland’s most renowned natural sites.
- Continue to Gullfoss waterfall.
- Visit Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover the Almannagjá fissure, the Öxarárfoss waterfall and, if conditions permit, Silfra.
- Continue to the Borgarnes region.
