Day 2
Rivière-du-Loup – Rimouski

  • Visit to the Musée du Bas-Saint-Laurent and Manoir Fraser.
    These two major and complementary cultural institutions present their local heritage. The Manoir is a former seigneurial residence built in 1829, while the Musée has an important collection of archive photographs highlighting the life and culture of the region.
  • Visit and interpretation with a naturalist guide at Parc national du Bic.
    Located on the picturesque shores of the St. Lawrence River, this park offers a natural setting of stunning beauty. During your guided visit with a SEPAQ naturalist, you will be amazed by the capes, bays, and coves that dot this exceptional landscape. Don’t miss the chance to admire seals basking in the sun near the shore, a sight that will leave you speechless.
  • Guided visit to the Site historique maritime de la Pointe-au-Père.
    Built in 1909, it is the 2nd tallest in Quebec and one of the few lighthouses still possessing its prism. Discover its history by chatting with the animators at its base.
  • Return to Cacouna and group dinner at Pub Walastoqey.
    This Indigenous restaurant located in Cacouna highlights the culture and heritage of the Première Nation Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk by offering fusion cuisine blending local terroir and multicultural inspirations.

It is possible to choose your seat when booking a motorcoach trip. For certain trips, a fee of $15 per person per day applies in order to obtain a seat in the first 4 rows of the motorcoach (blue section of the plan). Passengers keep their selected seat for the entire duration of their stay.
