The Grand Tintamarre, born in Caraquet, is a true carnival of sounds, colors, and traditions, where Acadian culture is celebrated through vibrant parades, captivating musical performances, and folk dances. Participants, armed with homemade instruments, gather in an explosion of joy to make the festive songs and shouts resonate in the lively streets.

Take the opportunity to explore the Acadian territory, located in the north and east of New Brunswick, whose coastline offers spectacular landscapes and picturesque coastal villages. By crossing Caraquet, the Acadian Historical Village, the Hopewell Rocks, and the Bouctouche Dunes, New Brunswick will not fail to amaze you!

Montréal – Bathurst

AM:

Day 2
Bathurst

AM:

  • Visit to the Acadian Village.
  • Lunch at the village.

  • Enjoy the festivities of the Grand Tintamarre in Caraquet.

Day 3
Bathurst – Moncton

AM:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Luggage checkout.
  • Visit to Savonnerie Olivier (included). Visitors can attend demonstrations and shop among nearly 140 eco-friendly, biodegradable, all-natural, and homeopathic products recommended by dermatologists.
  • Stroll through the Bouctouche dunes. The golden sandy dune, stretching 12 km in Bouctouche Bay, was formed by the constant action of wind, tides, and ocean currents since the last ice age. (Bring a swimsuit if you wish to swim.)
  • Lunch ($).

PM:

  • Stop at the Giant Lobster of Shediac.
  • Lobster dinner cruise in Shediac (included) (chicken option available for those who do not like lobster). Discover Atlantic Canada’s best-kept secret by enjoying an interactive lobster-themed cruise. You’ll have an unforgettable culinary experience on the warm waters of Shediac Bay.
  • Arrival at Crowne Plaza in Moncton and room check-in.
Day 4
Moncton – Fredericton

AM:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Luggage check-out.
  • Visit to the Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park. An exceptional place whose history is shaped by the passage of time, the force of nature, and the power of the world’s highest tides, which sweep the coast twice a day.
  • Group lunch on site.

PM:

  • Drive to Fredericton.
  • City tour of Fredericton with a French-speaking local guide.
  • Check-in at the Crowne Plaza Fredericton and group dinner.
  • Free evening.
Day 5
Fredericton – Montréal

AM:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out with luggage.
  • Stop at Hartland Bridge. The longest covered bridge in the world and one of the most well-known structures in Canada.
  • Return journey.

  • Quick lunch and dinner stop on the road ($).
  • Evening arrival.

It is possible to choose your seat when booking a motorcoach trip. For certain trips, a fee of $15 per person per day applies in order to obtain a seat in the first 4 rows of the motorcoach (blue section of the plan). Passengers keep their selected seat for the entire duration of their stay.
