- The oldest Christian church where Portuguese drove the Muslims out in the 12th century.
12:00 pm: Leaving for Nazaré.
12:30 pm to 2:00 pm: Free time by the sea for lunch ($).
2:00 pm: Arriving in Nazaré for a 1-hour guided tour on foot to see this fisherman village and its enormous waves.
3:00 pm: Leaving for Alcobaça located in the valley. Some say its name comes from the two rivers running through it: Alcoa and Baça,
3:30 pm: Arriving in Alcobaça for a 1.5-hour guided tour on foot:
- Alcobaça cathedral, a UNESCO Heritage Site
4:30 pm: Leaving for Coimbra where you’ll discover the medieval city and the historical university of Coimbra.
6:00 pm: Checking in at the Tivoli Coimbra or similiar

9:00 am: Private transfer to Albufeira’s marina. We’ll cruise the most beautiful parts of the coast, going to the Atlantic, Castelo and Praia de Galé. We’ll see Armaçao de Pêra fisherman’s village, the stone chapel of Senhora de Rocha to the beaches of Marina and Benagil. We’ll stop at an isolated beach. Free time to swim. BBQ on the beach (beer and wine included) and back to the marina.
