Otaru canal cruise tour

A car will take GM from resort then first stop at Nikka Whisky, one of Japan's top whisky makers, with its main distillery in Yoichi. Nikka whiskies have been recognized to rank among the world's best single malt whiskies and have won numerous awards.The Yoichi Distillery maintains many of its original stone buildings which visitors are welcome to view. A self-guided walking tour of the grounds takes about an hour and follows the whisky making process from start to finish. To be followed by Otaru Canal Cruise tour, which is a must-do activity for visitors to Otaru. Otaru, once a thriving gateway to Hokkaido, boasts a rich historical heritage from that era. During this leisurely 40-minute cruise down the Otaru Canal, our captains will each share their unique perspectives on this history. Afterwards, the driver will also wait for G.M. to have walk in Otaru for some shopping/walking, then take G.M. back to resort.
Tenguyama ropeway tour

The summit observation deck is listed as one star in "Michelin Green Guide” Japan. Afterwards, the driver will also wait for G.M. to have a walk in Otaru for some shopping/walking, then take G.M. back to resort.

Impeccable Service at Kiroro Peak - but the Hotel Hardware Needs Investment
We recently stayed at Club Med Kiroro Peak and had an amazing experience thanks to the outstanding team led by Tatiana, the new Chef de Village. From the moment GO Beste welcomed us at the reception, we felt well taken care of. The food was consistently excellent, with Executive Chef Vincent and Sous Chef Ahmet delivering scrumptious meals every day. Special thanks also go to Alice at the ski room and the helpful boutique team — their friendly service really stood out. The resort vibe at Kiroro Peak feels much more upscale compared to the jovial atmosphere we encountered at Club Med Kiroro Grand (we visited briefly and were squirted with water pistols — people may find it funny but it’s definitely not our idea of a premium experience). While the service was impeccable, we were disappointed with the hotel hardware. The rooms at Kiroro Peak are tired and very small — especially compared to other Club Med ski resorts like Tomamu or Val d’Isère, the only other Exclusive Collection resort in the Club Med portfolio. It feels misleading for Club Med to market Kiroro Peak as part of the “Exclusive Collection” without making meaningful upgrades to the accommodations. Tatiana and her team are doing an incredible job walking a tightrope to keep guests happy, but it’s clear that the physical property does not currently meet the Exclusive Collection standard. We strongly recommend Club Med reconsider the classification unless significant improvements are made — or at the very least, enhance the room experience with more upscale amenities to offset the shortcomings. Thank you again to the wonderful team for making our stay memorable — it’s the people that made all the difference!

We visited Club Med Kiroro Peak in Mar 2025 to experience the late winter skiing and were not disappointed. Even this late in the season, we had lots of snow and great fun. Special thanks to Tom, Mersila, Ryan, Haru, Yutaro and Miltos from the ski/snowboard team; Agathe from the reception, Rakesh, Vincent, Maki and Elsa from the restaurant; Yosuke and Gita from the bar; Briac from the ski shop; Tiffany from the gift shop; and the ever talented John. These were GOs who made our stay especially enjoyable and memorable. Thanks so much!

Best ski and Club Med experience!
This was my second stay at Club Med Kiroro Peak this winter season, and it felt like coming home. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with such warmth by Chief of Village Tatiana and F&B Manager Elsa. Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience. Tatiana leads the village with such grace and energy—you can feel her positive presence everywhere. She’s not only professional and approachable but also genuinely engaged with the guests, which makes a big difference. Elsa continues to impress with her exceptional attention to detail and passion for creating a memorable dining experience. She’s always around, checking in with guests, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and her warmth makes every meal feel extra special. Club Med Kiroro Peak remains my go-to destination for a ski vacation—not just for the world-class skiing, but for the people who make the stay unforgettable. It is truly the best Club Med that I have stayed, can’t wait to return again!

I had an amazing ski holiday at Kiroro Peak. The comfort of the resort, the friendly people (reception, bar, dining, housekeeping), the snow instructors, the ski slopes, the quality of the foods and drinks were all fantastic. Relaxing and Enjoyable Stay at Club Med Kiroro Peak
We recently returned from a trip from Club Med Kiroro Peak (late Mar-Apr) and had a very enjoyable experience. The convenience of having everything close by within the village made for a smooth and relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing a great space to unwind after a day on the slopes. The facilities were well maintained, and the ski room—located right next to the exit leading to the slopes—was especially convenient for getting ready each day. The food was another highlight. Meals were consistently good, with a wide variety of dishes and quality ingredients. Dining was something we looked forward to after spending time outdoors. The open bar was also a nice perk. It offered a good selection of drinks throughout the day, and the relaxed setting made it a pleasant place to wind down or catch up with others in the evening. We also appreciated the support from the staff. A special mention to Kevin, our snowboard instructor, who was patient and encouraging. He helped us get up to speed quickly and made the learning process much smoother. Additionally, John, the talented live singer, added a nice touch to the afternoon/evenings with his performances. He was friendly, took song requests, and it was a pleasure chatting with him during meals. Overall, Club Med Kiroro Peak provided a comfortable and well-organized environment for a winter holiday. It’s a solid choice for those looking for a convenient ski-in, ski-out experience with good amenities and helpful staff.
