Terrible
Our family is permanent client of Clubmed and we did really enjoy all the hotels we've been before (Seychelles, Dominicana, Mauritius, Turkey) but Les Arcs Panorama disappointed us VERY much... 1) The temperature in our room is very low so that we are using extra blankets. Most of the guests have the same complaint but hotel is doing nothing! 2) The food is the worst we've ever meet in any ClubMed despite original location, I mean France. Tho other guests who have been in this hotel before told us that the food became much worse. 3) There is only one hamam for 12 people without a sauna in the SPA of such a huge hotel. Can you imagine what happens there at 17-00 when all return from ski?! PS it's just a small problem but is a really painful for our kids who like to play game machines (football in the playground zone of the hotel) which are payable by 1 EUR. BUT the biggest problem there's no any possibility to find these 1 EUR coins since nobody can change it including reception so that my son searches the guests with the 1EUR coins every evening 😭

An excellent stay. We opted for the Exclusive collection in a family suite which was perfect for what we needed. The well-appointed room was large with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a living area plus a large balcony overlooking the slopes. Service from start to finish was excellent. The staff in the Belvedere Lounge, headed by Marine, is a professional team which sorted any request quickly and efficiently. A special mention to Florian who is an attentive and talented bartender. Ackbar, a member of the room servicing team, is an asset to Club Med and left our room spotlessly clean each day with small yet noticeable attention to detail. The food and drink in the lounge was excellent and breakfast to the room each morning was a highlight of the holiday, particularly with small children. Both the kids clubs teams and the staff at ESF were excellent and helped make the stay very memorable for both our children. Ski return at 11:30am outside the ski rooms was a brilliant extra touch and a suggestion would be to keep it outside each day rather than moving it inside to the theatre area as it lacked the same atmosphere there. Our only real criticism would be the evening entertainment. The 8:15pm shows were lacklustre and struggled to keep the children’s attention. I found the night seemed to be over once dinner was finished as we didn’t really want to stay in the theatre area for any of the scheduled entertainment although with early starts due to skiing, this wasn’t a big issue. Overall a great stay with the intention of returning.

On December 14th, we stayed at Club Med Les Arcs Panorama. We arrived for an extended family vacation — my partner and our children, my parents, my brother and his family, and my sister. For all of us, this was our very first ski holiday, and the excitement was huge. We arrived during the first week of the season, and from the very first moment, everything was incredibly professional, welcoming, and warm. During this week, many people truly entered our hearts — and to me, that says everything. First and foremost, the Club’s manager deserves special mention. He is so welcoming, kind, and always smiling. There was hardly a place we didn’t see him — on the ski slopes, welcoming guests in the dining room, leading evening activities, or sitting and eating with his team. Everything he did carried such calm presence, as if he were peacefully conducting a magnificent orchestra that creates an unforgettable melody. A particularly wonderful team member was Bar — service-oriented, kind, and highly professional. Our youngest daughter attended the Mini Club, and I must especially mention Hussein (“Couscous”). Even though he doesn’t speak Hebrew, he charmed all the children in the most beautiful way. He has an incredible approach, is warm and attentive, and truly knows how to engage children and make them feel at home. He is a real asset. Alongside him, we were fortunate to meet Maya, Daria, Inbal, and Neta, whom our daughter absolutely adored and enjoyed spending time with. Our three sons learned to ski very quickly thanks to the ski instructors, whose approach to children is perfectly adapted — encouraging, fun, and supportive. I would also like to highlight Victor, an exceptional instructor who taught our boys in an amazing way and also joined us on our final private family ski tour. With him, we felt safe and truly in good hands. If you are a beginner, it’s important to join the beginners’ lessons on the first day, as the groups progress daily. If you miss this, you will need to catch up with private lessons, which must be booked separately at the ski reception. During the first days, my father, my partner, my brother, my sister, and my sister-in-law all learned to ski in the beginners’ group with the amazing Aurélien - always with a smile and an incredible approach to both people and skiing 🙂 He managed to guide everyone both individually and as a group in a truly inspiring way. He also joined us for a family ski tour on the last day of our vacation. On a personal level, he helped me overcome a less pleasant skiing experience — all with humor, kindness, and wonderful support. Thanks to him and Victor, we gained a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I personally had the privilege of taking private lessons with the phenomenal instructor Lucas Zielinski. As a complete beginner, he taught me the basics with incredible patience, great spirit, professionalism, and a wonderful approach to people and to life — always with a big smile - he is the best :) I highly recommend learning with him. Regarding the food: I personally enjoyed the food very much and found it varied and well presented. That said, not everyone in our group connected with it in the same way or always found options that suited their personal taste. Overall, the quality was high, but preferences naturally vary. The rooms: The rooms offer generous closet space for ski clothing and equipment. We stayed in connecting rooms, and the storage space made organization and morning preparations much easier. The view from the window was unreal. We all returned from this vacation on a complete high ❤️ The scenery is breathtaking, the atmosphere is truly special, and I am deeply grateful for having discovered a whole new world in this beautiful place.

Second visit but left extremely disappointed
This was our second visit to Les Arcs, and unfortunately we left very disappointed. We booked Club Med transfers for the first time, which proved to be a mistake. The airport experience was chaotic: we waited nearly an hour for a vehicle and had to closely follow the “coordinator” just to be allocated a car. On arrival at the resort, the queue was poorly managed and, as others have mentioned, taxis were able to cut in front of guests which resulted in a full fight right outside the resort. Once inside, it felt as though the staff were completely unprepared for arrivals. It was genuinely surprising how disorganised the check‑in process was - almost like they had the wrong date in the calendar or something. It was quite surreal. Our room itself was fine (dont expect any sort of luxury), but extremely noisy as it was located right next to the lifts. The lifts were another ongoing frustration—far too few for the size of the resort, resulting in long waits and many people giving up and taking the stairs. I’d strongly recommend avoiding A Block if possible. The Monday ski‑lesson check‑in was, again, total chaos. We knew the process from the previous year, but most guests clearly didn’t, and the lack of communication at check‑in meant long queues, confusion, and people missing their lessons. The sheer number of guests who had no idea what they were supposed to do suggests the information simply wasn’t communicated properly. Food was another low point. Queues were long—though they did ease later in the week when the dining room opened earlier—and meals often felt like something to endure rather than enjoy. Food was frequently cold, not replenished quickly enough, and queues were made worse by people cutting in. Kids’ clubs were similarly disorganised. Collecting children often meant standing in line for ages but youd often be waiting unnecessarily long as the team would easily get distracted with something else so wouldnt even be calling for your child. Any attempt to raise concerns was met with a defensive “we’re doing our best” rather than any real effort to help or understanding. Finally, the return transfer: while the small print mentions waiting up to 30 minutes, it doesn’t make clear that you may be placed on a coach and dropped at the airport more than four hours before your flight. Given the price is comparable to private transfers, I’d strongly recommend shopping around. When I raised this with staff, the response was a shrug and a clear lack of interest. It’s a shame, because this can be a great resort, and perhaps things will improve later in the season. But overall, the service was very poor and nowhere near the standard you’d expect for the price. With the exception of ESF who were brilliant and a clear highlight, the general attitude from staff felt far from guest‑focused—more “put up and be quiet” than “we want you to have a great stay.” Sadly, we left feeling very let down.

Noisy room, mouldy bread, plastic sofa bed, late transfer… a fight!
Club Meds streamline: “feel at home”. My home doesn’t have mouldy bread, plastic sofa beds with a single sheet instead of a mattress for children to sleep on, it doesn’t have music blasting up to the room until almost 1am, my child feels safe and not threatened by other children in her playgroup who says their brother likes “killing girls” and then pulled her bib round her neck and she called for help nobody came. Sadly I’m only 2 days into my holiday here and this is what we have encountered. The reception staff don’t seem to want to listen. This is such a Shame, we had such an excellent holiday at Club med Les Rosiers last year. Other points: The transfer driver left us waiting 20minutes at the airport. we had to queue in the car to enter the complex. There was then a fight outside the hotel because one of the drivers had pushed in the queue and other driver didn’t like it! There was no welcome drink unlike Les Rosiers (a small point in a mountain of other things!). Our luggage was left in reception for 5 hours after being told it would be ticketed and brought to our rooms. I had to bring it upstairs myself in the end with the help of a very stressed and helpful receptionist. I had to remake my daughter’s bed to create a mattress for her on top of the plastic sofa bed and sheet she was given to sleep on, in our “superior” room. I asked for a second duvet to use as a topper mattress and after chasing it up 3 times I eventually got one and remade the bed. I questioned this plastic sofa bed twice at reception to be told this is standard for a room Of this level at around £1k a night for the holiday… hmmmm… not sure what you need to pay to get an actual mattress for a child. In all, Day 3 and it’s a big No from me. For these reasons alone, I’m out! Les Arcs is a shambles. “Feel at home”..? No not really but thanks for asking… I’d rather BE at home and keep the money.
