When it comes to Tremblant, it seems like it’s impossible to say or write anything new. After all, among all of the resorts in Quebec, Tremblant is the one that that receives the most media visibility. This is likely because it has the widest range of activities year-round, and also because it offers a world-class product. So, today, I’ve decided to talk about something that people don’t mention too often when it comes to Tremblant, but that is obviously super important to us skiers—snow conditions. Tremblant clearly ranks at the top when it comes to snow conditions and serves as a wonderful example for others to emulate. The resort understands that its success depends largely on the quality of the product it can offer its skiers. This also means that it has the ability to adapt in order to keep snow conditions as stellar as possible. Now faced with the direct impact of climate change, which has been a huge source of concern for outdoor sports enthusiasts, Tremblant has invested significantly in its snowmaking system and fleet of groomers. The resort currently uses over 1,000 snow cannons to maintain snow coverage on its slopes, and its snowmaking capacity steadily increases year after year.  For skiers and boarders, this is a guarantee that we can keep enjoying the best possible conditions, despite how Mother Nature is feeling. So, while it’s true that Tremblant has an impressive variety of restaurants, bars, accommodations and activities, it has also done the utmost to ensure visitors can continue to enjoy the best possible snow conditions. And, for skiers and boarders, that is probably the most important thing of all.
