In the 1950s, Val d’Isère began to build its reputation on the organization of major events. Just think of the amazing slope offered to downhill virtuosos during the 1992 Olympic Games, undoubtedly one of the most successful in the history of the Games.

The Val d’Isère – Tignes ski area (formerly called L’Espace Killy) includes the equivalent of 20,000 football fields, a height difference of 2,000 meters, and 300 kilometers of interconnected slopes. Nestled at the foot of the mountain near the Italian border, the Val d’Isère ski resort receives praise from all over the world. You’ll find quality accommodations, lively evenings, and a surprising choice of bars and restaurants.

Please note that departures must be made with an arrival in Lyon on Saturdays throughout the winter to benefit from airport transfers. If you wish to travel during the week, it is possible to go through Geneva and communicate with our specialists.

Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe

Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.

It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.
