Skiing has been part of my life since the age of about 7. The pleasure of doing outdoor activities—skiing, ski touring, walking and much more — is very rewarding for me.
My partner and I made our first ski trip to Europe in 1986, before home and family, thinking that it would probably be the only one.
In 2012, thanks to my friends Paul and Louis, I discovered the Gendron trips. Since then, I go with them every winter. I was able to make two trips that represented a summit for me and that I absolutely had to do: Salt Lake City (2012) for its powdery snow, and Chamonix, la Vallée Blanche (2013) for its impressive size. I thought I had seen everything, but no: the Canadian West, the American West and Europe — France, Italy, Austria—were added to my skiing dreams.
It was from that moment that I discovered another way to travel: being part of a group. My friend Paul is an escort and I travel regularly with him. I started to assist him, simply for the pleasure of helping during his travels. I then discovered another of my passions: skiing with people I didn’t know and developing new friendships.
For many people, this is their first trip. They can be impressed by the mountains. I like to make them feel at ease, give them little things so that their stay goes well. Seeing their big smiles at the end of the day and noticing that, ultimately, these mountains are not reserved for others is very rewarding.
I am always available and ready to help, even outside of skiing, and especially in love with laughter.
Looking forward to seeing you or seeing you again on a mountain and sharing good skiing together, no matter the level. I simply like to be on my skis and in good company.
