Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido

Amazing family vacation- EVERYONE was happy!

We visited Club Med Tomamu in late June for 7 nights. It was our first club med experience and we were very impressed. The highlight was definitely hospitality. While Japan is known for its high bar in hospitality, Club Med Tomamu made it feel like home away from your home. Everyone was extremely friendly but not excessively where you didn't have your privacy. From the excursion office, bar, restaurant, mini club, to even the cleaning staff in early mornings... all staff carried an relaxed demeanor while being professional. The chef de village (Zack Lee) was personable and brought great energy with him. Special shout out to the bar staff (Rohit, Wayne, Dolphin) and ALL the mini club teachers. Our 6YO had so much fun at mini club that he would protest when we picked him up early. He has a pretty early bed schedule but he stayed up almost every night just so he could participate in mini club activities. Mini club was more than just a service for parents to unwind, it was full of adventure. They offered archery, trapeze, outdoor activities, arts & craft and dance time. While I don't know the teachers' names, I'm extremely grateful for how caring and kind they were with the kids. The food was superb for an all inclusive resort. The Yakiniku restaurant was lacking in comparison but the main restaurant kept us full and happy everyday. We later visited a 5 star hotel in Hokkaido and Club Med Tomamu offered better chocolate croissant! For those who enjoy the nightlife, this place is also for you. In addition to all the festivities and fun events at the main hall, there's a bar that is adult- only, hidden away with a serene view. They carry some amazing liquor but at a premium price. We had a room with a mountain view and waking up to the quiet mountain was simply amazing. This was a memorable vacation for all of us and would definitely come back.

忘れられない最高の思い出になりました！／Unforgettable Family Stay – Our Third Visit and Still the Best」

(English follows Japanese) 7月に家族でクラブメッドトマムに宿泊しました。今回で3度目の宿泊となります。大自然の中で、子どもも大人も思いっきり楽しめる最高のリゾートです。施設、食事、アクティビティの充実はもちろんのこと、何よりGOの皆さんのホスピタリティが素晴らしく、滞在が特別な思い出になりました。 毎回新たな、そして本当に素敵なGOの方々と交流することができ、思い出がより印象深いものになっていると強く感じています。 特にお世話になったGOの皆さんに感謝の気持ちを込めてご紹介させてください。 • ビオラさん（サーカスチーム） 　滞在の度にショーは楽しみの一つでしたが今回は今までで間違いなく一番楽しむことが出来ました。きっかけはサーカスチームの方々が隣のテーブルに来て話しかけてくださったことです。GOの方々と仲良く楽しくいろいろな話をさせて頂きました。パフォーマンス自体素晴らしいものであるのはもちろんのこと、仲良くなったGOの方がショーに出て活躍している姿を見ることはとても楽しく、嬉しい気持ちになります。ビオラさんのパフォーマンスは圧巻で、毎日ビオラさんがショーに出ることを楽しみにしていました。最前列の席を予約する価値が本当にありました。日中の空中ブランコは一度しかチャレンジできず残念でした。また是非トマムでお会いし、お話しできることを心から楽しみにしています。 • カヤさん（サーカス・スポーツチーム） 　カヤさんを初めて見かけたのはミナミナビーチでお昼に行われるアクアジムでインストラクターをされていた時です。クラブメッドは毎日異なる様々な種類の食事が食べ放題、なおかつ美味しいお酒も飲み放題で日中いかにカロリー消費できるかが勝負です。アクアジムは簡単な動きですが水の中で行うとかなりいい運動になります。カヤさんは笑顔で参加者を盛り上げてくれます。そしてカヤさんはサーカスのメンバーでもあり、非常に鍛えられた体をしているので、とても説得力があり、動きを一生懸命真似しようという気にさせてくれます。また、最終日にホテルを発つ際には忙しい中見送りに来てくれたことはとても嬉しかったです。次お互いどこのクラブメッドに行くかはわかりませんが、またどこかでお会いできることを楽しみにしています。 • マヘンさん（フード＆ビバレッジ責任者） 　メインレストランに行くたびにいつも笑顔で迎えてくださりありがとうございました。バーで話をしたときはクラブメッドのことや母国のモーリシャスのことについていろいろと話を聞かせて頂きました。食事会場に行くことがより楽しみになりました。また、素晴らしい食事を提供してくれたことは一生忘れません。クラブメッドトマムは土地柄、新鮮な野菜や海産物に恵まれてとてもおいしいです。また、インドネシア、メキシコ料理は本格的で大好きでした。ナシゴレンやタコス、テキーラカクテルはまた是非味わいたいです。 • アマスさん（キッズクラブ） 　アマスさんのダンスは最高です。アマスさんは夜にバーで話しかけてきてくれて、とても楽しくお話させていただきました。ショーで踊っているアマスさんは普段の柔らかい印象とは違い、真剣な表情で、キレのある踊りでそのギャップがまたとてもよかったです。いつもとてもフレンドリーで、アマスさんがほかの拠点に行くたびにその場所を訪れるフォロワーがいるのも納得です。最後の夜にも一緒に飲んで話せたことはいい思い出です。東京でも会いましょう！ • ジャッキーさん（キッズクラブ？） 　ジャッキーさんのショーでのパフォーマンスはとても印象的でした。毎回いろいろなキャラクターで出てくるたびに会場は最高潮に沸いていました。ジャッキーさんは素晴らしいエンターテイナーです！最後の夜に一緒に飲めたことはいい思い出です。また会えることを楽しみにしています。 • ロビンさん（バーチーム責任者） 　ロビンさんやバーチームの方とはとても仲良くさせて頂きました。最終日のランチであるＧＯの方に仲良くなったＧＯの方の名前を伝えたところ、バーチームばっかりだね、と夜な夜なバーで飲んで皆さんと話して楽しんでいたことがすぐに伝わりました。バーでの楽しい時間を本当にありがとうございました！最後の夜に一緒に飲めたことはいい思い出です。また会えることを楽しみにしています。 • ウェインさん（バーチーム） 　ショーはほとんど毎日最前列の席を予約して観ていました。予約しようか迷っていた時もウェインさんと話して予約することを決断する日もありましたが、本当に良かったと思います。いろいろと柔軟にご対応いただきありがとうございました。クラブメッドで働き始めてから英語を話し始めたとは思えない流暢さで私も見習いたいと思いました。ウェインさんとバーで飲んで楽しく話すことが出来たこと、食事の度に声をかけてくださったことは滞在をより楽しいものにしてくれました。ありがとうございました。またお会いできることを楽しみにしています。 • ベキアさん（バーチーム） 　ベキアさんにはたくさんの美味しいお酒を提供していただきありがとうございます。トルコ出身ということでトルコの話をたくさん聞かせていただき楽しかったです。ベキアさん絶賛のトルコ航空にいつか乗ってみたいです。またお会いできることを楽しみにしています。 • アシュリーさん（バーチーム） 　アシュリーさんとは最後の夜に一緒に飲んで楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。ありがとうございました！マレーシアの話も楽しく聞かせて頂きました。出発直前にも挨拶が出来てよかったです。またお会いできることを楽しみにしています。 • リンカーンさん（バーチーム） 　リンカーンさん、バーでの楽しい時間をありがとうございました。また会えることを楽しみにしています。 • 日本人の方（バーチーム） 　最後の最後までビールを注いで頂きありがとうございました。お手数をおかけしました。おかげさまで楽しい夜になりました。 • タカさん（受付チーム） 　野球道具を借りる際、ご丁寧な対応をしていただきありがとうございました。タカさんが夜楽しそうに踊っている姿は印象的でした。ＧＯの方々が楽しそうにしている雰囲気はクラブメッドのいいところだと思います。 • ザックさん（ゼネラルマネジャー） 　最後になりましたが、ザックさん、素晴らしい滞在をありがとうございました。ザックさんはステージを盛り上げる天才だと思います。最後の夜のショーについて、一番大きなショーだと聞いたよ、と話をした時の回答が印象的でした。クラブメッドのショーは毎日特別で、毎日違った楽しませ方をしてくれます。ＧＯの方々が日々忙しく働く中、夜な夜な練習してゲストを楽しませてくれていることに感動します。お陰様で家族で最高の思い出を作ることが出来ました。ありがとうございました。 GOの皆さんのおかげで、単なるリゾート滞在を超えた最高の体験ができ、心も体もリセットすることができました。ぜひまた変えて訪れたいと思います。ありがとうございました！ We stayed at Club Med Tomamu as a family in July — our third time here — and once again, it exceeded all expectations. Nestled in stunning natural surroundings, it is truly a paradise where both children and adults can fully enjoy themselves. The facilities, food, and activities are all excellent, but most of all, the incredible hospitality of the G.O. team made our stay a truly memorable one. Every time we visit, we meet new, amazing G.Os, and we always come away with even more special memories than before. I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to the G.Os who made this trip especially wonderful. • Viola (Circus Team) We’ve always looked forward to the shows at Club Med, but this time was undoubtedly the best experience we’ve ever had. It all started when members of the circus team came to our table and struck up a conversation. Talking and laughing with the G.Os made the entire experience much more personal. Watching a G.O. you’ve bonded with performing on stage is incredibly fun and moving. Viola’s performances were breathtaking — we looked forward to seeing her in the show every day. Booking front-row seats was absolutely worth it. I only wish I’d had more chances to try the flying trapeze during the day. I sincerely hope to see Viola again at Tomamu someday and have another chat. • Kaya (Circus & Sports Team) We first saw Kaya leading the Aqua Gym session at the Mina Mina Beach pool. With delicious meals and unlimited drinks every day, staying active is key at Club Med — and Aqua Gym is a perfect way to burn calories! Kaya led the class with a smile and kept everyone energized. Her well-trained body and cheerful motivation made us want to follow along with every move. She’s also part of the circus team, which made it even more impressive. I was especially touched when she took the time to come see us off on our last day. We may not know where our next Club Med destination will be, but I hope our paths cross again. • Mahen (Food & Beverage Manager) Thank you for always greeting us with a warm smile at the main restaurant. It was such a pleasure talking to you at the bar — I learned so much about Club Med and your homeland, Mauritius. You made each visit to the dining area something to look forward to. I’ll never forget the wonderful food. The local produce and seafood in Tomamu are excellent, and the international cuisines — especially Indonesian and Mexican — were authentic and delicious. I’m already missing the Nasi Goreng, tacos, and tequila cocktails. • Amas (Kids Club) Amas, your dancing is amazing! You first approached us at the bar and we had such a fun time chatting. On stage, your sharp, expressive dancing — so different from your soft, friendly demeanor — was mesmerizing. You’re so charismatic, I understand why guests follow you to different Club Med locations. I’ll never forget our last night together, drinking and laughing. Let’s meet up in Tokyo someday! • Jackie (Kids Club?) Jackie, your performances in the shows were unforgettable. Each time you appeared on stage as a different character, the crowd went wild. You're a truly talented entertainer! Drinking together on the last night was a great memory. Hope to see you again! • Robin (Bar Team Manager) It was great I got to know Robin and the bar team very well. On our last day, when I told another G.O. the names of the G.Os I had bonded with, they said, “That’s all bar team!” — a clear sign of how much fun we had every night at the bar. Thank you so much for all those good times. Drinking together on the last night was the perfect ending. I hope we meet again! • Wayne (Bar Team) We reserved front-row seats for the shows almost every night. Some days I wasn’t sure if I should reserve, but talking to Wayne always helped me decide — and I’m so glad I did! Thank you for always being flexible and helpful. It’s hard to believe you only started learning English after joining Club Med — your fluency is amazing and truly inspiring. Thank you for making our meals and evenings extra special with your friendly conversation. I hope to see you again soon! • Bekia (Bar Team) Thank you for all the delicious drinks! I really enjoyed hearing about your home country, Turkey. Now I’m curious to try Turkish Airlines, which you spoke so highly of. I look forward to seeing you again someday. • Ashley (Bar Team) We had such a fun time drinking and chatting on our last night. Thank you! I also loved hearing about Malaysia. Thanks to all the G.Os, and staffs this was more than just a resort vacation — it was a transformative experience that left us refreshed in body and spirit. Unforgettable Family Fun at Club Med Tomamu

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Tomamu! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the entire resort had a refreshing suburban feel during the summer—perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the kids' activities were absolutely top-notch. Special shoutout to Rohan for the amazing cocktails and great conversations, and to Jam at the dining hall for helping our son find his toy. Our daughter also celebrated her birthday during our stay, and the team made her feel so special with a warm and thoughtful celebration. It truly made her day unforgettable! The Mini Club team was fantastic—our daughter has been asking to go back (and play with Lenna!) ever since we left. She attended the club activities every day and enjoyed most of her meals with them. We also joined the outdoor walk/treasure hunt (apologies for forgetting the name of the kind young guide), which was fun, family-friendly, and ideal for younger kids. There were fun shows and activities every night—great entertainment for both adults and kids. Mina Mina Beach is just steps away from the resort—our kids loved it and happily spent an entire afternoon there. The gondola is also nearby. Although we missed the Unkai due to weather, it’s definitely something we’d love to try again. Hiroshi Farm is a bit farther out, but very convenient if you drive. The resort also provides a shuttle, which we didn’t get a chance to try this time. We can’t wait to return!
