A truly wonderful experience

Very happy with our time at club med. We enjoyed every moment - from the delicious meals (my husband especially loved the Indian plates), to the incredibly kind staff, always being especially sweet to our baby, to the amazing facilities and baby club. The caretakers were so attentive and sweet with our baby. This was our first vacation as a family of 3 and the experience was so wonderful thanks to everything club med had to offer.

Great family holiday

We had an amazing family holiday at Club Med Phuket and would highly recommend it for families with young children as well as adults looking for fun and relaxation. We went with friends. So four adults and four kids in total. Our two young kids absolutely loved the Kids Club and were excited every day to join in the activities and spend time with the wonderful staff. My son age 6 especially loved Ayoub- at tennis and waterpolo. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were so well looked after and having such a great time. A special thank you to the Circus Team, kimmy, Vicky, Alicia, Chloé, golf and Dear- who were truly outstanding! Their energy, patience, encouragement, and talent made the experience unforgettable for both the kids and adults. We all enjoyed participating in the circus activities, and it became one of the highlights of our trip. The adults also loved the wide range of activities and clubs available throughout the resort — there was always something fun to do. The nightly entertainment was fantastic as well, with great shows and a fun atmosphere every evening. Thank you to the entire team at Club Med Phuket for creating such wonderful family memories. We can’t wait to come back!

Europeans first, perhaps

G.O.s are considered the heart and soul of the Club Med experience, without which, a Club Med would be no different from any other full board resort. There was a strong European presence amongst the guests during our stay in Club Med Phuket, and it felt like non-Asian G.O.s tend to mingle specifically with them. We stayed for 6 nights. It was only until our fourth night before the White Moon dinner did we have G.O.s, and only the Asian ones, actively interacting with us outside scheduled activities. Was it because non-Asian G.O.s could speak French and were "reserved" for European guests? We would never know for sure, but there was a distinct feeling of being left out. But we were really appreciative of A, Jasmine, PK and Nam for finally making us feel seen and heard. For activities, Ari was great. He was patient and encouraging during the Lower Body Focus workout, high spirited for Aqua Gym and soothing for the Sound Healing experience. A man of many talents, he also appeared in various shows across the nights. It was always a lovely surprise recognising him on stage! We also went for Power Walk with Bimo. It was not too challenging, but a good option to work up some sweat. Bimo even brought along drinking water and coconut water for us, and I was most impressed that he collected our used cups for recycling purpose. Bimo and Jasmine also joined us for pre-dinner drinks and dinner on our final night, reinstating our original impression of what Club Med hospitality should be. I highly recommend going for the Muay Thai class. Coach was awesome, it was fun for us as beginners, and we got to try some moves in the ring. Tips: For urgent room requests (for toilet paper, drinking water etc), do not use the app. Call Reception directly. App requests take time for approval and execution, we found out the hard way.

Building friendships in club med

My sister and I were on a 5-day holiday here when we were approached and met by 2 absolutely friendly and amazingly warm personalities who made us feel truly ‘at home’ during our stay at Club Med Phuket. We will never forget them for their genuine warmth and friendship. Thank you Julia! Thank you Manow! You have both made a difference to our stay. Also, thank you Manaka, who greeted and welcomed us on our first day and continued over the days, to greet, smile, and chat, with us in the midst of her work. Kudos to the the GM Patrizio for inspiring such great staff and helping us all make pleasant memories. Thank you.
