Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrival in Okinawa.

Check-in at hotel.

Day 2

Visit Shuri Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Admire its traditional architecture and learn more about Okinawa’s history. Then discover the Makishi market for local dishes and shopping.

Day 3

Explore Kokusai Dori, Naha’s main shopping street. Stroll through its lively alleyways, try street food and visit traditional stores. At the end of the day, relax on Naminoue beach and enjoy a breathtaking view of the ocean.

Day 4

Take a boat trip to the Kerama Islands, a paradise for snorkellers and scuba divers. Discover the magnificent coral reefs and swim among a variety of tropical fish.

Day 5

Visit the Okinawa Art Museum to discover the island’s history and culture through local works of art. Then explore the Tsuboya district to see traditional pottery and learn the art of silk weaving.

Day 6

Take an excursion to the village of Ryukyu Mura to discover Ryukyu culture through traditional performances, craft demonstrations and dance classes.

Day 7

Visit the Okinawa Peace Memorial to pay tribute to the victims of the Battle of Okinawa during the Second World War before departing for Ishigaki.

Day 8

Fly to Ishigaki and check into your hotel.

Day 9

Start your trip by relaxing on the beautiful Sukuji beach and enjoying the breathtaking view of the blue lagoon.

Day 10

Sea adventure – Go snorkeling or scuba diving in Ishigaki’s coral reefs. You’ll see an incredible diversity of tropical fish and colorful coral. For an unforgettable experience, take a boat trip to swim with giant manta rays.

Day 11

Explore Mount Nosoko for panoramic views of the island. Admire the local flora and fauna on a picturesque hike
through the rainforest.

Day 12

Relaxation at the hotel – enjoy a day of indulgence with a tropical cocktail.

Day 13

Go to Taketomi Island, just a short boat ride from Ishigaki. Explore the picturesque lanes of the traditional village and admire the red-tiled houses. Take a buffalo-drawn cart to discover the island.

Day 14

Visit the traditional village of Ishigaki to learn more about the island’s history and culture. Don’t miss the delicious local dishes.

Day 15

Visit Iriomote National Park, an island close to Ishigaki. Explore the mangroves by kayak and observe the local flora and fauna. Sail along the island’s rivers to the stunning Pinaisara waterfall and enjoy a refreshing swim.

Day 16

Departure from Ishigaki – return flight to Montreal.
