Important information

Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe

Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

For more information about this permit, you can visit the official website at the following address: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.

It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

One-day excursion history, wine and art with a French-speaking guide.

This is a day of discovery and history where you visit some of the most interesting and picturesque areas of the Algarve. Steeped in traditions, encompassing mountains and sea, it is the ideal way to familiarize yourself with the Algarve. You will take less frequented paths, offering an enlightened perspective on the past and present of Portugal. We head to the town of Silves, which was the capital of the Algarve during the Moorish era. Here, we visit the castle dating from that period, which offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. The contrast of the red-toned bricks seems to shine in the sun and the feeling of living history is palpable. There is time to visit the impressive Gothic cathedral and to stroll through the narrow alleys.

Our next stop is at a winery where you can enjoy a guided tour and taste some of the wines produced as well as a delicious dinner. In the afternoon, we will head to Porches – Porches is renowned for its beautiful and original pottery. The Porches pottery workshop is one of the best representatives of this art and many traditional production methods are still used here today. You can see the pottery being made and hand-painted by the artisans.
