Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe

Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.

It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

Day 1

Montreal – Prague

Flight to Prague.

Day 2

Prague

Accommodation: Metropolitan Old Town Hotel

Arrival of the group, welcome by the French-speaking guide and transfer by private coach to the hotel. During the transfer, panoramic tour of Prague, including a walking stroll to Vyšehrad, the oldest seat of the princes of Bohemia according to legends.

Check-in at the hotel. Luggage transport included.

Free time depending on the arrival time.

Day 3

Prague

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning walking tour of Prague. Entry to the Jewish Museum including the cemetery, the Maisel, Klaus, Pinkas, and Spanish synagogues. Continuation to the Old Town viewed from the Astronomical Clock, Old Town Hall. Tasting of mulled wine at the Christmas market.

Transfer by coach to Prague Castle. Exterior view of Strahov Monastery. Guided walking tour of the Prague Castle complex: St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, and Golden Lane.

In the afternoon, walking tour in the Mala Strana district. View of St. Nicholas Church (entrance not included). Visit to the Church of Our Lady Victorious. Walk on Charles Bridge.

Free day to visit the different Christmas markets of Prague.

Prague - Český Krumlov – Vienna

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure by private coach with the French-speaking accompanying guide towards Český Krumlov. Walk through the streets of the city, a superb town nestled in a loop of the Vltava and dominated by the proud silhouette of its castle. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, it has preserved its charm and character with its typical houses, small squares, and old wooden bridges.

3-course lunch at the restaurant.

After dinner, departure towards Vienna by private coach with the assistance of the French-speaking guide.

Vienna – Schönbrunn
