Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.
For more information about this permit, you can visit the official website at the following address: https://travel-europe.europa.eu/etias_en.
Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

Discover this charming human-scale maritime capital in a different way. On the program, you will discover the pretty pedestrian center of Copenhagen. This district offers lively little streets full of charm. You will notably discover the famous city hall and the nearby statue of Hans Christian Andersen. Your guide will take you to discover the Latin Quarter, Strøget, passing by the famous Stork Fountain. You will board a cruise on the canals offering an interesting visit and providing a new perspective on the city and its main monuments (departure from Nyhavn or Gammel Strand).

Rosenborg Castle is a 17th-century Renaissance building surrounded by moats, adjacent to the King’s Garden (Kongens Have). It was the favorite castle of Christian IV and his children, their summer and country residence, at the astonishing distance of 2 km from Christiansborg! It houses the royal collections and the crown jewels. Amalienborg Palace is the winter residence of the Danish royal family. This architectural ensemble is divided into four palaces forming an octagonal square. At the center of the square stands a statue created by the sculptor Saly of King Frederik V, founder of Amalienborg as well as the surrounding district. We will then visit Frederick’s Church (Marmorkirken) (free entry), begun in 1744 with its many marble statues signed by Thorvaldsen, Denmark’s greatest sculptor. Every day at noon, the Royal Guard marches from Rosenborg Castle, through the city to Amalienborg Palace, ready to take its place at the Queen’s gates.

Upon your arrival, you will meet your local French-speaking guide who will take you to visit the city of Oslo by private coach. You will have the opportunity to admire Frogner Park, which hosts the numerous controversial sculptures by Gustav Vigeland, the Royal Palace, the City Hall, and the medieval Akershus Fortress. Departure from the hotel by private bus to the port where you will board the traditional cruise in the Oslo Fjord. We navigate through strident sounds, idyllic bays, and a labyrinth of islands with small vacation homes. Thanks to its superb location, Oslo offers you unique photo opportunities. Discover the landscape aboard a cruise boat. You will sail between numerous islands, including Hovedøya and the Dyna Lighthouse, between narrow inlets, and inside sheltered bays; this will allow you to photograph the capital from different angles. We will pass by the Opera, the new Munch Museum, and the new fjord village under development on Oslo’s waterfront. The boat will also pass near the Bygdøy peninsula, where there are many interesting museums as well as beaches such as Huk. You will also be able to see the Maritime Museum with historical ships moored inside, and the impressive Fram Museum which houses the polar ship of the same name.

The guide will take advantage of the journey to present the royalty and its importance in Sweden. Once at Drottningholm, we will visit the best-preserved royal palace in Sweden. Built during the 1600s, Drottningholm Palace is today listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The king and queen live there and raised their children there. It is one of the ten palaces that the royal family has at its disposal and its European architecture is stunning.
