One of the major advantages of Kicking Horse is that it is not too busy, due to its distance from major urban centres. It is a quality that is essential to the peace and quiet that you will be able to enjoy. In addition, there are excellent weather conditions and snow coverage that last for several days after a storm.
The ski area mainly attracts advanced skiers because of its many bowls, couloirs and steep open runs, which are sought after by adrenaline fans. However, even beginners and intermediates can enjoy the varied runs that start at mid-mountain, and even a long run from the very top.
After a long day playing in the snow, you’ll find comfort at the Glacier Mountaineer Lodge, an ideal accommodation located at the foot of the slopes. A trip to Kicking Horse is a once in a lifetime experience that you won’t regret!
