Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe

Starting at the end of 2026, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.

It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.

Day 1

Montréal – Zagreb

In flight.

Day 2

Zagreb

Arriving in Zagreb and transfering to the hotel.

Free time. Installation, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Zagreb – Opatija

Guided tour of Zagreb, the political, economic and cultural capital of Croatia. Guided discovery of the great buildings of the nineteenth century and the beautiful parks of the city center that give the city a special charm: main square Ban Jelacic, the Gothic cathedral.

Lunch ($)

Continuing in the afternoon to Opatija.

Checking in at the hotel and dinner.

Day 4

Opatija – Pula

Breakfast at the hotel.

The city of Pula known for its 1st century Roman amphitheater, Augustus temple and the door of Sergius. Guided tour of Pula, lunch ($) and free time in the city. Continuing to Rovinj. A rich, natural site, the place showcases trees that have resisted to storms over the centuries. Back to Opatija. Dinner and hotel.

Day 5

Opatija – Plitvice – Zadar

Breafast at the hotel. Plitvice National Park is the most famous natural reserve of Croatia. With its 16 lakes linked by waterfalls it’is now protected as a UNESCO natural heritage. Visit with a local guide, lunch ($) and continuing to Zadar.

Day 6

Zadar – Šibenik – Vodice

Breakfast at the hotel.

Zadar, a great fortified city of Dalmatia, is surrounded by the sea on three sides. Zadar is also one of Croatia’s oldest city. City tour, lunch ($) et free time. Continuing to Šibenik. Night in Vodice.

Day 7

Šibenik – Krka – Vodice

Breakfast at the hotel.

Šibenik is a city that thas kept its medieval centre, with its alleys and stairs, overshadowed by a fortress and St. Jacques’ cathedral. Put on UNESCO’s heritage list in 2001, it has a certain charm. Guided tour of the old city. Leaving for Krka National Park. Visit of “Skradinski buk”, the famous part of Krka waterfalls. Night in Vodice.

Day 8

Vodice – Neretva Valley – Slano

Breakfast at the hotel.

Boat ride on the Neretva river with a dinner on the river. Continuing to Slano.

Day 9

Slano – Dubrovnik – Slano

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit of Dubrovnik’s old city in the morning, followed by lunch ($) and free time in the city. Back to Slano.

Day 10

Elaphites islands

Breakfast at the hotel.

Get on a boat to see the Elaphites islands archipelago: Koločep, Lopud and Šipan. You’ll eat fish and drink local wine and you’ll see games and dancing. You’ll have the opportunity to swim… Sun, sea, fish, wine and music make it unforgettable. Back to the hotel.

Day 11

Montenegro

Breakfast at the hotel.

Discovering the mouths of Kotor and Montenegro’s coast. Arriving in Perast, boarding a boat and visit of the island of Notre-Dame-du-Rocher – artificial island built by Perast inhabitants, starting in the 15^th century. Continuing to Kotor, listed as a UNESCO’s World Heritage in 1979. Back to Slano.

Day 12

Slano – Korkula – Area of Split

Breakfast at the hotel.

Leaving for Korčula island. Native city of Marco Polo, it’s also one of the most beautiful medieval city of the Adriatic. History and traditions mix in the city. City tour followed by free time. Leaving for Split.

Day 13

Split

Breakfast at the hotel.

Continuing to Split, the product of 17 centuries of building, renovating and restructuring. It is one of Croatia’s administrative, historic and religious centre. Diocletian’s palace is built at the centre of the city. City tour of the Old Town, free time and accommodation in Split.

Day 14

Split – Hvar – Split

Breakfast at the hotel.

Leaving by catamaran for the island of Hvar – a queen among all islands. City tour and free time.

Day 15

Split – Trogir – Zagreb

Breakfast at the hotel.

Leaving for Trogir, a World Heritage site since 1997. City tour of this medieval city. Leaving for Zagreb.
