Introduction of Mandatory ETIAS Permit for Travels to Europe
Starting mid-2025, every Canadian traveler planning to visit Europe will be required to possess an ETIAS permit. This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System, implemented by the European Union.

Please note that this permit costs 7 euros per person, and the process can take up to 30 days for approval.
It is also mandatory to have a passport that remains valid for at least 3 months after your departure date from Europe. Without this, entry at the European border will be denied.
Itinerary:
Arrive in Florence and check into your hotel. Start with a stroll through the historic city center. Visit the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (the Duomo). Admire the famous sculptures in the Galleria dell’Accademia, including Michelangelo’s David.
Explore the Uffizi Gallery, one of the world’s most renowned art museums, home to masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance. Stroll along the Arno River and cross the famous Ponte Vecchio. Visit the Pitti Palace and its magnificent Boboli Gardens.
Take an excursion to discover Tuscany. Visit the charming city of Siena, famous for its main square, the Piazza del Campo, and its Gothic cathedral. Afterwards, explore the Chianti wine region and taste local wines at nearby wineries.
Enjoy a relaxing day in Florence, strolling through the gardens of the Villa Medici, visiting the Bargello museum, home to superb Renaissance sculptures, or discovering the city’s quieter districts, such as San Niccolò or Oltrarno.
Departure by train to Naples($). Arrive in Naples and check into your hotel. Start your visit with a stroll through the historic center of Naples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the narrow streets, taste the famous Neapolitan pizza and visit the Sansevero Chapel to admire the sculpture of the Veil of the Virgin.
Take an excursion to Vesuvius, the famous volcano overlooking the Bay of Naples. You can reach the volcano’s summit by car or bus, then hike to the crater for spectacular panoramic views.
Visit the ruins of Pompeii, the ancient Roman city buried in ash when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. Explore the well-preserved cobbled streets, houses and amphitheatres.
Take an excursion to the island of Capri. Take a ferry from Naples and explore the magnificent gardens of Augustus, the sea caves and the village of Anacapri. You can also enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
Discover the lively districts of Naples, such as Spaccanapoli and the
